Mr Eric Loubser |
Since I started working in 1971 I was directly or indirectly involved with the processing of salaries and wages for the last 40 years. I have experience in manual calculations as well as electronic calculation of remuneration. I was involved with the implementation of electronic remuneration systems from two angles, being the user as well as being the service provider. I have also held the position of National Support Manager for a payroll supplier for a number of years. My payroll career has also taken me to the UK where I spent some time adapting payrolls to the needs of the clients and installing these in a bureau environment. I was also instrumental in adapting the payroll courses of the Institute of Pensions and Payroll Managers (IPPM) in the UK to South African standards for Payroll Education. I have also been involved with industrial relations, union negotiations, retirement funds and negotiations with workplace forums. Currently I hold the position of Senior Manager: Human Resources, with the portfolio of remuneration and benefits at Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation of Africa Ltd. I have been in this position since 1 July 1997. I am also a member elected trustee on the retirement fund. 011 889 7574 |
