SAPA Overview

The South African Payroll Association is affiliated to other worldwide professional payroll associations who all share a common goal: To promote excellence in the payroll profession.

As such we aim to provide regular newsletters, seminars and an annual conference in order to ensure invaluable networking in the payroll profession, allowing our members to be proactive in areas such as implementing changes and seeking advice on new systems.

Furthermore we provide a mechanism of communication via a natural body between our colleagues in the payroll profession and government, in particular The South African Revenue Service (SARS).

The South African Payroll Association is a Section 21 Company established in 1999 as a representative organisation to preside over issues that affect the specialised field of payroll administration.

All members of the SA Payroll Association subscribe to the SA Payroll Association’s Code of Ethics.
